Use a sink
The simplest way to wash your baby carrier is by using a sink. This is because you can easily wash the carrier in your sink without having to worry about getting anything dirty in the process.
Do some rinse
After every wash, it’s recommended that you rinse the carrier out thoroughly. Most carriers have removable, non-absorbent cloth linings. You simply need to take the carrier out of the package and discard the fabric. If the liner is made of synthetic material, simply soak it in soapy water for a minimum of five minutes to remove any soap residue.
Rinse after every time you use the baby carrier. Every time you wear it, make sure to rinse it off with clean water and mild soap. Additionally, use a diaper ointment at least once a day. Any ointment or cream that does not contain chlorine or perfumes should be avoided as they can be bad for the baby’s health.
Let it air dry for sometime
Once the fabric has dried, you can then put it away or give it to a loved one for storage. Leaving your carrier outside for a number of days or weeks could damage the elastic, stitching, and other areas. Be sure to check the item out frequently for any signs of wear.
